BOSTON – June 18, 2026 – Zachary A. Dovitz, an associate in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Boston office, received the Creative Realty Advocacy Award, presented by the Arts & Business Council of Greater Boston’s Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts of Massachusetts (VLA). The award honors legal professionals and firms that protect, advocate for, and preserve affordable real estate and spaces for artists and creative communities. Dovitz was honored for his pro bono work and accepted the award at the Champions of Creative Justice & Innovation event June 10.

The event celebrated artists, creative entrepreneurs, and innovators, as well as the lawyers, law firms, and legal teams who serve the creative community. It also commemorated the 37th anniversary of the VLA. Greenberg Traurig was a sponsor of the event.

Dovitz represents clients in virtually all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, such as leases, acquisitions, dispositions, sale-leasebacks, financings, and zoning and land use matters. He has represented national and local real estate developers, S&P 500 corporations, alternative investment managers, other institutions, and municipalities.

The Arts & Business Council's VLA program provides affordable legal counsel to artists, creative entrepreneurs, and arts nonprofits. Services include referrals, direct representation, legacy and estate planning, and educational workshops.
