Zachary Dovitz represents clients in virtually all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, such as acquisitions, dispositions, sale-leasebacks, financings, and zoning and land use matters. He has represented national and local real estate developers, S&P 500 corporations, alternative investment managers, other institutions, and municipalities. Before joining Greenberg Traurig, LLP, Zack served as in-house counsel for the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency, where he represented the Agency in commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions, as well as office and industrial leases.

  • Represented MassDevelopment in acquisition of a commercial building in downtown Worcester, MA; represented MassDevelopment in subsequent sale of the same, subject to redevelopment agreement and unique payment structure.°
  • Represented MassDevelopment in acquisition of former hotel in Holyoke, MA; represented MassDevelopment in subsequent sale of the same, subject to redevelopment agreement.°
  • Represented MassDevelopment’s interests as owner of commercial office building in Springfield, MA, including tenant leases, property management, and construction & maintenance agreements.°
  • Represented MassDevelopment’s interests as operator of Jodrey State Pier in Gloucester, including leases for tenants involved in the commercial fishing industry.°
