Dorota Derlicka focuses her practice on matters related to renewable energy and infrastructure projects, as well as on environmental issues and construction law. She has deep professional experience in advising leading public and private companies at all stages of their investment process, from investment planning, through the whole permitting process and in the course of operations of the facilities. As an in-house lawyer she participated in a project involving the construction of the first nuclear power plant in Poland. Dorota also provides ongoing support in relation to all environmental issues, among others, to companies operating Seveso establishments.

Experience

  • Advised VALOREM in connection with the signing of a cooperation agreement with T&T PROENERGY for the development of photovoltaic projects with a capacity of over 300 MW in Poland.
  • Advised the Vendor on the sale of Zalesie Wind Farm in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship with a capacity of nearly 25 MW to PGE Energia Odnawialna.
  • Advised clients on photovoltaic and on-shore wind farm projects (ongoing support concerning land title issues, grid connection and other issues related to the investment process).°
  • Represented of a key client from the renewable energy sector before the Energy Regulatory Authority in disputes concerning the connection of RES installations to the grid.°
  • Provided ongoing advice to a wind farm developer.°
  • Advised a key client on investments in petrochemical and industrial chemistry installations, including the preparation and negotiation of the drafts of EPC turnkey contracts.°
  • Provided ongoing advice for a company running facilities classified as Seveso III upper-tier establishments, incl. representation of the company in administrative and court proceedings.°
  • Advised a leading developer of logistics parks (BTS projects) in relation to environmental issues.°
  • Advised a key client (leading company from the metallurgical industry) on post-production waste management.°
  • Advised a leading cosmetics manufacturer in administrative proceedings relating to the transport of dangerous goods.°
  • Advised on infrastructure projects concerning the development and modernization of the railway stations in main Polish provincial cities.°
  • Participated in a number of environmental (legal) due diligence projects for the purpose of M&A transactions.°
