Greenberg Traurig’s Global Immigration & Compliance Practice Employer-Focused Webinar Series to Focus on Florida’s New E-Verify Law

NEW YORK– May 30, 2023Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Global Immigration & Compliance Practice continues its additive employer webinar series on June 8 at 3 p.m, focusing on Florida’s newly enacted E-Verify law.

Global Immigration & Compliance Practice Co-Chair Kate Kalmykov and Shareholder Nataliya Rymer will discuss how this legislation – signed May 10 – could impact Florida employers, particularly in relation to hiring foreign national workers and broader compliance considerations.

As of July 1, private Florida businesses employing 25 or more people that fail to comply with the newly enacted standards for new hires may face fines and other penalties. Many business leaders are seeking to understand how to prepare for and respond to this latest legislation.
