Lindsay works closely with companies operating in the U.S. and abroad with regulatory compliance and, when needed, represents clients in civil actions including proceedings before governmental bodies. Lindsay represents clients in various sectors, including those in the digital infrastructure, financial services, food, beverage, dietary supplement, medical device, personal care products/cosmetics, and supply chain industries.
Lindsay represents clients in commercial litigation across the country and abroad, at the trial and appellate levels. She has broad experience including advising on matters relating to individual and business torts, including alleged deceptive and anti-competitive trade practices, false and misleading advertising, consumer protection act claims and other alleged statutory violations.
Lindsay also has experience with avoiding civil actions by designing, building, and implementing effective compliance programs, conducting internal investigations, performing risk assessments, handling pre-and post-acquisition compliance due diligence, training staff and third parties on compliance requirements, and assisting in the monitoring and auditing of compliance programs. Lindsay’s experience includes advising companies on how to comply with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and the UK Bribery Act.
Lindsay’s experience also includes assisting clients with compliance with statutes and regulations enforced by the Food and Drug Administration, the Federal Trade Commission and other regulatory agencies. This includes the review of marketing materials (including product labels), responding to civil actions (including FDA inspections and warning letters, FTC Civil Investigative Demands, and ASRC and NAD cases). She also prepares and reviews business documents, including consulting, manufacturing, mergers, acquisitions, supply and distribution agreements.
Lindsay proudly serves as a pro bono coordinator for the firm’s Denver office.
