Marcella C. Ducca Selected to The 2024 Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation List

ATLANTA – July 2, 2024 –Marcella C. Ducca, a shareholder in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Atlanta office, was selected to The 2024 Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation list.

Chosen through journalistic research and editorial vetting from a board of peers, this recognition represents lawyers who have achieved great heights early in their legal practice and are what Lawdragon considers “the future of law,” according to the publication. This is the second year the guide has been published.

Ducca, who is the co-chair of Greenberg Traurig’s Atlanta Products Liability Litigation Group, focuses her practice on defending companies in products liability litigation, with an emphasis on medical devices, notably those related to women’s health. She handles a wide range of cases in both state and federal courts, including multidistrict litigations, with a history of representing companies in some of the most complex mass torts cases in history. Ducca focuses on navigating complex and high-stress situations, managing national litigation, and handling individual cases involving catastrophic injuries and wrongful death.

Ducca was recently elected by Law360 to be a member of the publication’s 2024 Personal Injury & Medical Malpractice Editorial Advisory Board. She is also a frequent speaker on emerging issues in complex litigation and product liability law, recently presenting at the Atlanta Bar Association, Emory Law School, and ACI’s Drug & Medical Device Litigation Conference. Additionally, Ducca has contributed to literature in her practice area, authoring multiple articles that have been featured in publications such as The International Comparative Legal Guide to Product Liability, Products Liability Law & Strategy, and Medical Malpractice Law & Strategy.

Committed to service within the national and local legal communities, Ducca was recently named to the Atlanta Bar Association’s board of directors. She is also a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel, an invitation-only association of lawyers and insurance executives who represent corporate and insurance interests around the world, among other professional societies.
