ATLANTA – Dec. 8, 2023 – Marcella C. Ducca, a shareholder at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP and co-chair of the Atlanta office’s Products Liability & Mass Torts Practice, is a member of Emory University’s 2023 “40 Under 40” Class.
According to the university, honorees included in the “40 Under 40” Class are selected amongst hundreds of applicants. Members are recognized for outstanding achievement and service and as emerging pioneers in their fields.
Ducca is involved in various professional and community organizations within Atlanta and nationwide, focusing on complex litigation and product liability law. She has maintained leadership and membership roles with the Emerging Leaders Board of Advisors of The Institute for Complex Litigation and Mass Claims at Emory University School of Law, the International Association of Defense Counsel, the Defense Research Institute, The Judge Clarence Cooper Inn of Court, the American Bar Association, the Atlanta Bar Association, the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers, the State Bar of Georgia, and the Ohio State Bar Association.
Ducca focuses her practice on the representation and defense of manufacturers in products liability litigation, with an emphasis on pharmaceutical, medical device, and health care litigation. She has experience on a variety of complex matters in both state and federal courts, including multidistrict litigations and mass torts. Ducca is a senior leader on Greenberg Traurig’s mass tort litigation teams, managing largescale national litigation as well as individual catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases.
