MIAMI – Nov. 21, 2025 – For the fourth consecutive year, the house band of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., The Meltones, won the annual Law Rocks Miami battle of the bands, held Nov. 20 at Gramps in Miami. The Meltones raised nearly $50,000 in sponsorship and donations, the majority of which will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS).
The Meltones electrified the stage with high-energy performances, ultimately emerging as the overall winning band based on the combination of sponsorship dollars raised, ticket sales, and judges’ scores. The event raised more than $100,000 for local charities.
“Our team came together to support Big Brothers Big Sisters and the extraordinary work they do in connecting youth from underserved populations with mentors who can help guide them toward success,” said Miami office Co-Managing Shareholders Jaret L. Davis and Yosbel A. Ibarra, who introduced The Meltones alongside Gale Nelson, CEO and president of BBBS Miami. “Mentorship can change lives, and BBBS Miami does that better than anyone. We’re thrilled to help support their efforts, which are at the core of our firm’s commitment to giving back to the Miami community.”
Greenberg Traurig has proudly supported BBBS Miami for more than 20 years, becoming the first law firm in the city to serve as a corporate partner for the School to Work mentoring program. Greenberg Traurig Senior Chairman Matthew B. Gorson also has served on the BBBS Miami board for more than a decade, including two terms as chairman.
Members of The Meltones band in Miami include: Miami Real Estate Shareholder and founding member of The Meltones Burt Bruton on guitar and vocals; Litigation Shareholder Jessica Fishfeld and New York Litigation Of Counsel Ashley A.
