NEW YORK – May 7, 2026 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP is representing Galata Chemicals, a Praana Group company, in connection with the execution of a definitive purchase agreement for the acquisition of selected plastic additives businesses from Arkema S.A. (the Acquired Business).

The Acquired Business is expected to operate as part of Galata Chemicals, Praana Group's specialty additives platform, and includes Arkema's global Methyl Methacrylate Butadiene Styrene (MBS) copolymers business as well as its European and Asian acrylic impact modifier and processing aids (AIMPA) activities, along with the Vlissingen production facility in the Netherlands. The proposed acquisition is expected to further strengthen Praana Group's global specialty chemicals platform and expands its capabilities in plastic additives for PVC and composite applications.

The acquisition is expected to bring together Galata Chemicals' established expertise in specialty additives for PVC, CPVC, engineering thermoplastics, and polyolefins with the Acquired Business' complementary plastic additives technologies, which enhance impact resistance and improve productivity in extrusion and molding processes for PVC profiles, pipes, packaging, and various composite materials, particularly in the construction and packaging markets.
