Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas hosted the 2019 Sustainability Society Reception on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Waller Creek Conservancy, with special guest Texas Supreme Court Justice Nathan Hecht attending. VLS is a non-profit organization that provides civil legal services to low-income people through attorney volunteers in Travis County, who give back to their community through donations of time and legal expertise. GT Austin Appellate Shareholders Heidi Bloch and Skip Watson and Austin Litigation Associate Erik Weber attended. Heidi is on the VLS Board of Directors and has been volunteering with VLS for over 30 years.
