Elina Alperovich is a shareholder in Greenberg Traurig’s New York office.
Her practice focuses on advising private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as public and private companies, on a broad range of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, leveraged buyouts, carve-outs, minority investments, joint ventures, de-SPAC transactions, going private transactions, complex strategic transactions, and general corporate and governance matters.
Elina has experience counseling clients in a wide variety of industries, including financial services, asset management, fintech, insurance, technology, industrial, consumer products, entertainment, and hospitality.
Elina previously served as Transaction Counsel for Apollo Global Management, where she advised on transactions for Apollo’s Financial Institutions Group.
Prior to Apollo, Elina worked at two other international law firms where she represented a number of private equity sponsors, including Altas Partners, Blackstone, Cinven, First Reserve, Greenbriar, KKR, LCatterton, Palladium, and Warbug Pincus.
Elina brings unique insights into each representation through a business and legal lens, having worked on both sides of the table as in-house transaction counsel at a leading alternative investment manager and in private practice at global law firms.
In addition, Elina is an adjunct professor of contract drafting at Cardozo Law School.
