Training Contracts

Applications for our 2026 training contract are now closed. Applications will re-open for a 2027 start date in early October of this year.

2026 training contract interviews will take place week commencing 11 and 18 March 2024 and our assessment days will be held week commencing 13 May 2024.

Eligibility

At Greenberg Traurig, we are looking for enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, and commercially minded applicants. Our work is challenging, and as a result candidates are required to have achieved a minimum of a 2:1 at degree level. 

Candidates must also meet one of the below criteria to be eligible to apply for a training contract:

  • currently in the penultimate or final year of their law degree;
  • in the final year of their non-law degree;
  • a law or non-law graduate; or
  • a law or non-law graduate who has already completed the LPC, SQE,or PGDL.

We require all non-law graduates to complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Law (PGDL) before commencing the SQE. Successful candidates that have not yet completed the PGDL will need to complete this with our chosen provider, prior to the SQE.

Full funding will be provided for the PGDL (where applicable) and SQE course and exams, alongside a maintenance grant to support future trainees through their studies.

If you are interested in applying for a training contract once applications re-open, you will need to submit your CV together with a one-page (A4) cover letter explaining why you are interested in becoming a trainee at Greenberg Traurig.

Candidates that have already completed or are currently completing the PGDL, LPC or SQE should ensure they provide a full breakdown of the modules studied and any results achieved to date.
