GT Shareholder Jeffery M. Chiow is speaking at ACG National Chapter "2025 FAR 2.0: Rewriting the Federal Acquisition Regulation + CMMC". Jeff will be joined by by Kate Cloonan, Deputy General Counsel, CGI Federal, and Derek Boyd, Principal, Baker Tilly. The effort kicked off by the April 15, 2025 Executive Order “Restoring Common Sense to Federal Procurement,” has the potential to fundamentally change federal procurement. Its featured project is the FAR 2.0 rewrite. FAR reform is still underway, but it is worthwhile considering, as this ACG event will: (a) what the EO announces about the White House’s intentions for FAR reform; (b) how these reforms are being implemented; (c) what compliance challenges contractors must navigate as a FAR transition plays out; and (d) where the greatest sources of government contracts compliance risk resides for contractors today. Hint, it may not be in the FAR Rewrite.
