Prochnow, a shareholder in the Health & FDA Business Group of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, recently presented at the BevNET Live! conference held at the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel. Prochnow spoke at the “Roundtable Networking Session,” Dec. 4 and participated in a breakout session titled “Lessons from the Food Courts,” Dec. 5.

Prochnow’s practice is focused on assisting companies in the food and beverage industries. He provides advice on regulatory compliance with statutes and regulations enforced by the Food and Drug Administration and the Federal Trade Commission, including the review of product labels and websites. Prochnow also assists companies with responding to FDA warning letters, FTC investigations, and NAD cases and, on an ever increasing basis, he defends companies from the growing number of class action lawsuits filed over alleged false and misleading advertising. Co-lead of Greenberg Traurig’s Food & Beverage Group, which was recognized by Law360 as a Food & Beverage Practice Group of the Year in 2015, Prochnow served as the 2015-2016 co-chair of the Food & Drug Law Institute’s (FDLI) Food and Supplement Group and was recently selected as a 2016 “Life Sciences Star” by LMG Life Sciences as well as being listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Advertising Law in 2017.
