Laura Rabinowitz to Speak at ACI 2019 Customs Compliance Industry Exchange

New York – Nov. 14, 2019 – Laura Siegel Rabinowitz, shareholder and member of global law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP’s International Trade Practice will participate in the American Conference Institute’s (ACI) 2019 Customs Compliance Industry Exchange in Washington, D.C., November 20-21, 2019. The event serves as a network building exchange for Customs professionals to discuss strategies on tariffs, duty mitigation, free trade agreements, enforcement trends, USMCA/NAFTA, and Customs innovations.

Rabinowitz will moderate the panel “Current Thoughts on Doing Business in China – Should You Leave? Where Should You Go?” The panelists will discuss the viability of keeping China as a part of major supply chains in the face of ongoing U.S. tariffs, legal strategies for avoiding the tariffs, and potential alternatives to China.

Rabinowitz counsels domestic and multinational businesses on complex supply chain issues and other complicated challenges associated with trade, advising on mitigation of duty exposure and compliance. Laura has deep experience handling international trade projects for clients, including multinational importers, exporters, manufacturers, retailers, customs brokers, and freight forwarders.
