Greenberg Traurig’s Bradley Marsh to Present at Bar Association of San Francisco: Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Section Webinar

San Francisco, CA– August 6, 2021– Greenberg Traurig, LLP Co-Managing Shareholder Bradley Marsh will be a panelist in a webinar at the  Virtual Bar Association of San Francisco: Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Section titled “Prop. 13 Change in Ownership for Legal Entities” on August 10, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. – 1:15 p.m. PDT.  

The panel includes Richard Moon, Tax Counsel IV, California State Board of Equalization and Moderator Erika Yuen, Prof. Law Corp. They will discuss topics relating to Prop. 13 such as: Statutory framework; Am I in Schedule A or Schedule B?; Common pitfalls; Strategies to avoid changes in ownership; And resources available on the Board of Equalization (“BOE”) website.

Marsh is co-managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s San Francisco office and serves as a co-chair of its State and Local Tax (SALT) Practice. He focuses his practice on tax controversy matters, including property, sales, payroll, business license, employment, franchise, parcel, district, documentary transfer, transient occupancy, utility user, income, parking, gift, and estate taxes. Marsh represents clients in audits, litigation, and administrative hearings, as well as analyzing transactions and business models, and developing strategies for legislative resolutions.
