BASF Elects Anthony Guzman to Chair Diversity & Inclusion Committee

SAN FRANCISCO – Feb. 14, 2022 – Anthony E. Guzman II, an associate in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Labor & Employment Practice in San Francisco, has been elected chair of the Bar Association of San Francisco’s (BASF) Barristers Club Diversity & Inclusion Committee.

According to the BASF website, “the Diversity & Inclusion Committee works to educate, advocate, and promote programming that addresses issues around diversity, equity, inclusion, justice, and belonging faced by underrepresented attorneys.”

Guzman represents employers in the defense of complex wage & hour class and collective actions, including those involving claims under California’s Private Attorneys General Act. He has wage & hour trial experience and has argued in both state and federal court, as well as before state agencies such as the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement. Guzman also has notable experience representing employers in sexual harassment, pay disparity, and trade secret disputes.
