Greenberg Traurig Shareholder Elizabeth Dominguez Yaeger Joins Board of DC SAFE

WASHINGTON, D.C. – July 26, 2022 – Advancing global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s core value of giving back to the community, Washington, D.C. Shareholder Elizabeth Dominguez Yaeger was selected to join the board of DC SAFE.

DC SAFE is the only 24/7 crisis intervention agency for domestic violence in the District of Columbia. Its mission is to ensure safety and self-determination for survivors through emergency services, court advocacy, and system reform. Last year, DC SAFE supported over 11,000 survivors and families, a record number of clients in its 15-year history.

Yaeger, a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice, advises on the acquisition, disposition, financing, development, and leasing of commercial real properties, with a focus on affordable housing. She advises on complex equity and debt real estate transactions for clients including financial institutions, developers, owners, and investors. Yaeger’s experience extends to the hospitality sector, where she has handled matters involving hotels, resorts, and golf courses, including representation of one of the largest vacation ownership companies in the world.

Yaeger’s practice also includes advising on the tax credit syndications of Low-Income Housing Tax Credits and financings involving tax-exempt and taxable bond financings for the development, operation, and maintenance of affordable multifamily properties.
