Aimee Housinger focuses her practice on commercial and complex litigation in the tech, entertainment, healthcare, oil and gas, and financial services industries. She has also litigated patent, trademark, and product liability disputes nationwide. Aimee advises clients through all stages of litigation, including pre-suit matters, discovery, motion practice, alternative dispute resolution, and trial. Drawing on a decade of experience and her multi-disciplinary knowledge to litigate cases strategically and efficiently, Aimee helps clients pursue favorable resolutions to legal disputes. Her clients cover a wide-range of industries from small business owners, to Fortune 50 companies, to musicians.

  • Member of team that obtained defense verdict for national health services company in class-action FLSA suit in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Corpus Christi Division.
  • Member of team that obtained defense verdict in patent infringement suit on behalf of nation’s largest consumer products company in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Marshall Division.
  • Member of team that represented contractor in a claim against the property owner for payment on a gas storage and processing facility in Wyoming (project value of approximately $85 million) and in defense against counterclaim by owner for $43 million in defective work. Tried before the American Arbitration Association, and recovered a net affirmative award of approximately $19.8 million, with nearly $39 million of additional damages sought by owner being rejected.
  • Member of team that obtained judgment of $537 million and assets valued in excess of $1 billion for client in dispute over family ownership of multinational energy company (Texas State Court – Harris County, Texas).
  • Member of team that obtained defense verdict for Fortune 50 software company on claims of breach of contract, breach of warranty, and fraud in suit alleging the client’s software caused failure of Plaintiff’s $85 million online sports company in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, San Antonio Division.
  • Member of team that obtained defense judgment on behalf of Fortune 50 software company, with over $9 billion of damages sought through claims brought under the Lanham Act in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
  • Lead counsel in obtaining defense judgment on behalf of Fortune 50 software company in defamation case with over $10 million in damages sought in Florida’s Second Judicial Circuit.
