The two-part conference is comprised of two 90 minute sessions and is hosted by Columbia Business School's Alumni Club of South Florida and Columbia Business School's Alumni Club of Houston. Led by recent discoveries of offshore hydrocarbons in the Guyana-Suriname Basin, the topics of discussion will be focused on the opportunities in the oil and gas sector, renewable energy, infrastructure, education, training, supply chain and social programs of both nations and surrounding neighbors as they are considering cross-border projects.
Greenberg Traurig Shareholder Robert Downing (Miami/Houston) is serving as the moderator for Session I of Columbia Business School's Guyana - Suriname Virtual Conference Series on April 21 while GT Shareholder Jordan Cowman (Dallas) will be serving as a speaker. Downing will also participate as a speaker for Session II on April 28. Each session will run from 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. EST.
