San Francisco shareholder Chuck Thompson and San Francisco associate Anthony Guzman spoke at the 2022 12th Annual Barristers Litigation Summit on October 13, 2022. Guzman moderated and Thompson joined as a panelist in a program titled "An Ethical Attorney's Guide to Creating Civil Culture". This panel will explore common civility and ethical issues new lawyers should be aware of during various phases of a legal matter. Additional topic discussed included civility during discovery and in the courtroom, interactions civilly with opposing counsel, civility during settlement negotiations, and the Rules of Professional Conduct with intersect with civility.
