San Francisco Co-managing Shareholder G. Michelle Ferreira will be speaking at the 2022 Annual Meeting of the Tax Bar and Tax Policy Conference on November 2 - 4, 2022. The California Lawyers Association Tax Section provides educational opportunities to members in all aspects of the practice of tax, promote diversity and inclusion and foster collegiality within the tax community, and to advocate for members and the public to ensure an equitable and efficient tax system.
Ferreira will be speaking in two sessions titled "Tax Bootcamp Part II: Successful Litigation Strategies and Techniques" on November 3 from 1:45 PM - 3:15 PM PST and "Beyond Term Insurance" on November 4 from 2:10 PM - 3:10 PM. The "Tax Bootcamp Part II: Successful Litigation Strategies and Technique" will review well-established trial practice and introduce new opportunities to successfully litigate a tax case trial. The second session "Beyond Term Insurance" will discuss planning with life insurance and how to position a client in a case of a post gift or a death attack.
