Since March 2020, the I-9 requirements have been modified several times by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), but these COVID flexibilities will officially end on July 31, with a grace period through August 30. The expert faculty on this intermediate seminar will review requirements for remote verification, Form I-9 compliance upon resumption of normal business operations, and the use of authorized representatives to verify employment eligibility and identification. Panelists will also delve into measures to take for remediation and correction of any Form I-9 lapses or noncompliance.
