GT is a proud sponsor of the 28th Annual John Hemphill Dinner, hosted by the Texas Supreme Court Historical Society. This year’s John Hemphill Dinner was presided over by the Honorable Ken Wise, 2022-23 President of the Texas Supreme Court Historical Society. The program included the annual Chief Justice Jack Pope Professionalism Award presented by the Texas Center for Legal Ethics. This award recognizes a Texas appellate lawyer or judge who demonstrates the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
The keynote speaker this year was Jason Taylor, Chief of the Texas Rangers. The Texas Rangers, America’s oldest state law enforcement agency, are celebrating their landmark 200th anniversary.
