Join Frank Citera on Friday, October 20, 2023 for a panel entitled "To Daubert or Not to Daubert: Using Experts Successfully in Class Actions".
The panel will discuss the federal circuit courts remaining divided on whether full-blown Daubert scrutiny or something less rigorous applies at the class certification stage and whether and when to mount pre-certification Daubert challenges, as well as how to develop expert testimony to support Daubert challenges at the class certification stage. In addition, the panel will explore innovative uses "hot tubs" or "science days" at class certification.
