Justice Felix Frankfurter and the Idea of Judicial Self-Restraint Then and Now in Federal and State Courts

The Historical Society of the New York Courts is presenting a CLE program titled “Justice Felix Frankfurter and the Idea of Judicial Self-Restraint: Then and Now in Federal and State Courts," Monday, Dec. 11 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at the New York City Bar Association and via Zoom.

The program is sponsored by the New York State Writers Institute at SUNY Albany and the New York City Bar Association’s Federal Courts, State Courts, and Legal History Committees. The discussion will cover the judicial legacy and philosophy of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Felix Frankfurter.

Greenberg Traurig Shareholder Hank Greenberg will be delivering remarks at the event. Other program participants will include Hon. Jonathan Lippman, Hon. Barbara D. Underwood, Dean Troy A. McKenzie, and Professors John Q. Barrett and Brad Snyder.
