Greenberg Traurig Miami is hosting the South Florida Chapter of Federal Bar Association (FBA) and the National Association of Federal Equity Receivers' (NAFER) program, Receiverships 101: Fireside Chat with Eric Bustillo, Director of the Miami Regional Office of the SEC, on Monday, June 3 from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. CLE will be offered for in-person attendees.
This program will provide a general overview of SEC receiverships, from pre-suit considerations to discharge. Topics will include initial appointment of the receiver, efforts to preserve assets, the receiver's investigatory role, litigation by receivers, and how receivers return assets to investors.
