Summit for Corporate Governance

Greenberg Traurig, LLP and the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV are proud to host our 5th annual Summit for Corporate Governance, featuring distinguished experts discussing hot topics and governance developments facing public, private, and emerging growth companies.

Boards of directors and senior corporate leadership face a variety of issues in corporate governance including understanding the roles and responsibilities of boards, succession planning, considerations of the changing legal landscape, and the risk of litigation. The Summit will include engaging panels featuring officers and directors, legal practitioners, cyber experts, investor relations professionals, and law school faculty who will examine board and C-Suite level issues affecting today’s corporate leadership. Listed below are the topics on which this year’s panels will focus:
  • The Business of the Board
  • CEO Successions – From Strategically Planned to Midnight Crises
  • Challenges to Delaware’s Dominance: Contributing Causes, Rush to Remedy and Anxiously Awaiting Alternatives
