Greenberg Traurig is excited to have its house band, The Meltones, appear as returning champions for the third annual Law Rocks Miami competition taking place on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Gramps. The Meltones, named after firm co-founder Mel Greenberg, have been rocking in various incarnations since the mid-1980s. Now they have their sights set on defending their title as the 2022 and 2023 Law Rocks Miami winners. The Meltones have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local non-profits in New York and Miami and could not be more thrilled to play for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami. The Law Rocks Miami edition of The Meltones includes three attorneys from GT’s Miami office (on vocals, Miami Shareholder Jessica Fishfeld; on guitar and vocals, Miami Shareholder Burt Bruton; and on guitar, Miami Associate Josh Tartell), with able backing from Burt’s three local Miami bandmates Larry Misrahi on bass and vocals, Danny Howe on keyboards, and Joe Arencibia on drums.
