FIU-ASFAAG Conference, Sustainability By Design: Rethinking Business for a Changing World

The Academy of Sustainable Finance, Accounting, Accountability & Governance (ASFAAG), in partnership with Florida International University's Institute of Environment and College of Business, presents its 2026 American Chapter Conference: "Sustainability by Design: Rethinking Business for a Changing World." This premier gathering unites academics, policymakers, and industry leaders to explore innovative approaches to sustainability, resilience, and responsible business practices. Keynote speaker Prof. Michael Goldstein, Donald P. Babson Chair in Applied Investments at Babson College and Editor-in-Chief of Weather, Climate, and Society, will headline the event. High-level panels featuring leading executives and policy experts will drive dynamic dialogue on sustainability, finance, and governance.  GT Environmental Practice Co-Chair Kerri Barsh will present as a panelist on the Climate & Disaster Risk Panel which will examine how communities, financial institutions, and policymakers are addressing increasing climate-driven risks, particularly those affecting water infrastructure and wastewater resilience.
