Are the Tides Finally Turning on CIPA Claims Based on Harmless Online Tracking?

Even though the state already has a comprehensive regulatory regime governing online tracking in its California Consumer Privacy Act, plaintiffs persist in claiming that the California Invasion of Privacy Act also separately governs these same online trackers.
