Greenberg Traurig’s Albany Office Recognized in the Observer’s Albany Top 40 Power Players

ALBANY, New York – Oct. 12, 2015 – The Albany Government Law and Policy Practice at international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has been recognized by the Observer as the only law firm on its list of Albany’s Top 40 Power Players. Harold Iselin, Albany managing shareholder and chair of the Government Law and Policy Practice, is ranked 37th on the list.

Albany’s Top 40 Power Players list features a number of elected offices including Carl Heastie, Assembly Speaker; John Flanagan, State Senate Leader; Governor Andrew Cuomo; and New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman. The list also recognizes Thomas Prendergast, MTA Chairman; Merryl Tisch, Board of Regents Chancellor; and John Banks, REBNY President, among others.

Earlier this year, Iselin, on behalf of the Albany office, was also ranked 45th on the City & State 2015 Albany Power 100 list. He focuses his practice on governmental affairs and health care matters, representing diverse clients before the executive branch and state legislature. Additionally, he handles complex civil litigation matters, litigating a broad range of civil cases. Iselin also serves as president of the Capital Repertory Theatre and is on the board of the New York State Archives Partnership Trust.
