Greenberg Traurig Warsaw Advised Invesco Real Estate in Relation to the Acquisition of the Q22 Office Building

WARSAW – Dec. 28, 2016 - The Warsaw office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP advised Invesco Real Estate on the acquisition of Q22, one of the most iconic and modern office buildings located in Warsaw at Aleja Jana Pawła II 22.

Greenberg Traurig provided Invesco Real Estate with comprehensive legal advice with respect to the transaction and the negotiation of all transaction documents, including the preliminary and final sale agreement. Greenberg Traurig also advised Invesco Real Estate with respect to the financing of the transaction from a Polish law perspective.

The transaction was supervised by Partner Agnieszka Stankiewicz and led by Senior Associate Karolina Kuźniak, supported by Associate Michał Niećko.

Q22 is a prime office building in Warsaw with a range of innovative technology solutions. The building, with a height of over 155 meters and an area of approximately 53,000 sq. meters, is located in the business center of Warsaw, at the intersection of Aleja Jana Pawła II and Grzybowska Street, and was opened in June 2016. Q22, with a distinctive glass facade, inspired by the structure of quartz, was designed by Autorska Pracownia Architektury Kuryłowicz & Associates. The property features a strong, diversified tenant mix including Deloitte, Allegro and Citibank among others.

The acquisition of Q22 was the largest investment transaction for an office building in the real estate market in Poland in 2016 and one of the largest transactions in the CEE region.
