Award-winning Litigator Lori Cohen Co-Chairs, Speaks at ACI Conference on Women Leaders in Life Sciences Law

BOSTON– July 27, 2016 – For a third consecutive year, award-winning litigator Lori Cohen will co-chair and speak at ACI’s 3rd Annual Conference on Women Leaders in Life Sciences Law, taking place July 28 and 29, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency Boston. Cohen is Chair of the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Health Care Litigation Practice, Chair of the Trial Practice Group, and Co-Chair of the Atlanta Litigation Practice at the global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP.

Cohen will speak on two panels on Thursday, July 28. At 8:45 AM ET, Cohen will help lead a session on “Co-Chairs’ Introductory Remarks and Welcoming Exercise: Becoming Powerful Champions and Supporters of Other Women in the Life Sciences Legal Community.” At 4:45 PM ET, Cohen will speak on a panel titled “The Five-Year Plan for Continual Progress: Taking the Next Step in One’s Career and Getting and Keeping a Seat at the Table.” Also for the third consecutive year, Greenberg Traurig is a sponsor of the conference. The firm will host a reception on Thursday, July 28.

According to the ACI website, the conference brings together over 150 attendees to hear leadership strategies from over 30 General Counsels, Chief Legal Officers, Chief Compliance Officers, Senior Counsel, VPs, and more. Attendees will gain insights from a panel of women in government including representatives from the United States Department of Justice and the federal bench regarding life sciences specific enforcement and litigation.

Cohen has a national litigation practice focusing on product liability litigation and specifically, medical device and pharmaceutical litigation. She was profiled in Law360’s 2015 “Trial Aces,” 2012 "Top Female Trial Attorneys," The Financial Times, and The National Law Journal’s “Winning - Successful Strategies From Some of the Nation’s Top Litigators,” a special report recognizing 10 attorneys from across the United States.
