AUSTIN, Texas – March 2, 2022–Elizabeth “Heidi” G. Bloch, an Appeals & Legal Issue Practice shareholder in the Austin office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will present at the 11th Annual Advanced Trial Strategies Course hosted by Texas Bar CLE, March 3 at 9:45 a.m. CST.

Bloch will address potentially case-ending relief for interlocutory appeals and how they can affect trial proceedings in a session titled “Strategic Use of Mandamus and Interlocutory Appeals in Litigation.” She will be joined by Lisa Bowlin Hobbs, founding member at Kuhn Hobbs, PLLC.

The two-day event is designed for experienced practitioners and provides opportunities to interact with experts.

Bloch is an appellate litigator who is well-known for her ability to zero in on core issues. She crafts persuasive arguments to provide clear legal paths to help her clients pursue their legal objectives. Bloch represents clients before state and federal courts in virtually all aspects of appellate practice. She also prepares amicus curiae briefs on behalf of clients, such as industry trade groups, that are interested in, but not parties to, an appeal. Additionally, Bloch helps trial counsel preserve error through pretrial and post-trial motions, jury charge issues, and trial briefing.
