Greenberg Traurig’s Carmen Beauchamp Ciparick Honored by Gender Fairness Committee, New York County, Supreme Court, Civil Branch

NEW YORK - June 17, 2022- Carmen Beauchamp Ciparick, co-chair of Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Appeals & Legal Issues Group, was honored by the Gender Fairness Committee of the New York County, Supreme Court, Civil Branch at its 2022 Women’s History Recognition Award Presentation June 13.

Honorees are selected annually for their accomplishments, leadership, and service both on and off the bench, and contributions to the New York State Unified System.

Ciparick, a former New York State Court of Appeals senior associate judge, advises clients on appellate matters and litigation strategy and mentors Greenberg Traurig's junior lawyers. She is active in public service, serving on the Permanent Commission on Access to Justice, the New York Courts Historical Society, and the New York State Indigent Legal Services Board. Ciparick was appointed by the Chief Judge to co-chair the New York Justice Task Force that examines the causes of wrongful convictions. She is the past chair of the Mayor's Advisory Committee on the Judiciary and also serves as chair of the New York State Board of Law Examiners.
