DALLAS – July 20, 2022 – Steven E. Bartz, a Corporate shareholder in the Dallas office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, spoke at the 2022 Reynolds and Reynolds Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans (EBV) July 18.
Bartz, a frequent speaker on topics concerning legal issues facing privately owned businesses and their owners, participated in the 2022 Reynolds and Reynolds EBV hosted by the McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship at Texas A&M University. Bartz’s presentation to the military-veteran entrepreneurs who are participating in the Reynolds & Reynolds EBV focused on Legal Issues in Entrepreneurship & Small Business.
Reynolds and Reynolds EBV is a novel, one-of-a-kind initiative designed to leverage the resources, skills, and infrastructure of higher education to offer cutting-edge, experiential training in small business management and entrepreneurship to post-9/11 veterans with service-connected disabilities and a passion for entrepreneurship, according to its website. The program aims to open the door to economic opportunity for veterans and their families by developing their competencies in creating and sustaining an entrepreneurial venture.
Bartz advises clients in connection with joint ventures, M&A, private placements, and fund formation transactions, in addition to providing legal counsel in connection with governance and strategy matters. He is a member of the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section and a member of its LLCs, Partnerships and Unincorporated Entities Committee.
