NEW YORK – Sept. 20, 2022 – Sharon Katz-Pearlman, a Tax Practice shareholder in the New York office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will speak at the 21st Annual Tax Executives Institute (TEI)-Sponsored Large Business & International (LB&I) Northeastern Compliance Practice Area Conference Sept. 21 at the Ted Weiss Federal Building in New York City.
Katz-Pearlman will speak on the panel “LB&I Examination Update” at 10:10 a.m. The session will discuss LB&I compliance priorities updates, large corporate compliance, compliance assurance process, campaigns, joint committee, partnerships, and high wealth/high income.
Katz-Pearlman represents large multinationals, partnerships, and other taxpayers in IRS disputes, from pre-filing through post-appeals mediation and into litigation, if necessary. She has deep experience with alternative dispute resolution methods and handles both domestic and cross-border cases related to a broad range of issues, with a focus on pricing transfer matters. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Sharon served as national principal in charge of tax controversy and dispute resolution for KPMG, LLP and global head of tax dispute resolution and controversy for KPMG International.
