Joseph F. Coniglio and G. Michael Gruber Join Dallas Citizens Council

DALLAS – Dec. 5, 2022 –Joseph F. Coniglio and G. Michael Gruber, shareholders in the Dallas office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, were invited to join the Dallas Citizens Council.

Dallas Citizens Council comprises the area’s CEOs and top business leaders who provide guidance on the policy issues that will move Dallas forward and serve in the moments that matter the most for the city, according to its website. Coniglio and Gruber will both serve as representatives for Greenberg Traurig.

Coniglio is the managing shareholder of the firm's Dallas office. He has wide-ranging experience in the areas of health care law and complex business litigation. He utilizes his 20-plus years of experience in the health care industry to assist a wide variety of health care related entities and providers including hospitals, physician groups, long term care facilities, as well as clinical labs and pharmacies in litigation and transactional matters.

Gruber represents businesses, executives, bankruptcy trustees, trusts, individuals, and high-net-worth families as both plaintiffs and defendants on their most sensitive, confidential, contentious, and high-risk matters. Gruber utilizes his deep litigation and pre-litigation experience to avoid litigation when prudent and to take matters to trial when needed.

Since 1937, Dallas Citizens Council has a legacy of furthering the visionary initiatives that have led to progress for the city. The organization helped establish Southwestern Medical School, lead the way for the development of Central Expressway, and advocated for desegregation. More recently, Dallas Citizens Council supported the American Airlines Center, created the committee that would develop the downtown Arts District, and formed a coalition that led to the stabilization of the Dallas Police and Fire Pension System.
