WASHINGTON, D.C. – Oct. 6, 2023 – Greenberg Traurig, LLP Litigation Practice Associate Shirin Afsous will speak at the National Association of Muslim Lawyers (NAML) Annual Conference Oct. 6-7.
According to the conference website, the two-day conference, titled “Monumental Moments for Muslim Lawyers, will discuss the historic impact of Muslim legal professionals in various areas of the law and provide opportunities for networking, mentorship and education.
On Oct. 7, Afsous is a panelist for “Tricks of the Trade: Avoiding, Mediating and Resolving Disputes for Your Clients,” and a moderator for “Muslim Lawyers Serving the Vulnerable: From Families to Juveniles to Survivors.”
Afsous, based in Greenberg Traurig’s Northern Virginia office, has deep experience interacting with clients and developing case strategy. Afsous has handled trials as first chair attorney and has wide-ranging experience drafting, researching, preparing witnesses for trial, conducting depositions, and arguing dispositive motions.
