Richard Valladares Named to Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s ‘50 Most Influential Latinos in Georgia’

ATLANTA – Oct. 2, 2023 – Richard J. Valladares, administrative shareholder of the Atlanta office and chair of the Atlanta Business Litigation Practice at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, was named as one of the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s (GHCC) 2023 “50 Most Influential Latinos in Georgia.”

According to the GHCC, this honor celebrates and recognizes “trailblazers and community leaders who have not only shaped various industries, but also empowered communities and embraced their cultural heritage, leaving a lasting mark in Georgia and beyond.” Recipients are recognized for their dedication and accomplishments that have enriched the state of Georgia’s economic and social fabric.

Valladares has experience in numerous areas of litigation, including complex commercial litigation, personal injury defense, class action, construction litigation, products liability, and insurance coverage litigation. His litigation and trial experience extends throughout all phases of a dispute, including pre-litigation negotiations, administrative investigations, trial, and appeal. In addition, he advises a wide array of clients, from Fortune 500 companies and business entrepreneurs, on litigation and trial work, dispute resolution and litigation avoidance techniques.

In addition to his wide-ranging litigation experience at Greenberg Traurig, Valladares has been appointed by Gov. Kemp to represent Georgia’s 6th Congressional District of the State Board of Education and to serve on the Georgia Judicial Nominating Commission. Valladares also serves as pro bono outside counsel to the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and to Open Doors Atlanta, an organization specifically aimed at addressing and assisting to reduce Atlanta’s homeless population. He is a member of the Leadership Atlanta Class of 2024.  Additionally, Valladares serves as a Law360 Editorial Advisory Board Member for the state of Georgia.
