MIAMI – July 25, 2025 – Seth J. Entin, a shareholder in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A.’s Tax Practice, recently spoke at the American Bar Association (ABA)’s 17th Annual U.S. and Latin America Tax Practice Trends Conference in Miami.
Entin co-chaired a panel titled “New Frontiers for Family Offices: Emerging Issues for Cross-Border Family Office Structures and Investments.” The panel focused on structuring family office entities and functions in a tax-efficient manner, issues relating to the creation of a taxable presence in a given jurisdiction, the design of investment structures to accommodate the tax profiles of family members in multiple jurisdictions, and broader tax considerations affecting globally dispersed family members.
As a Tax shareholder in Greenberg Traurig’s Miami office, Entin focuses his practice on the international taxation of high-net-worth individuals and families, international corporate taxation, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) international tax audits, and IRS voluntary disclosures.
