Discussing the firm’s relocation to McKinney & Olive, Dallas Managing Shareholder Joe Coniglio explains that the move aligns with a broader strategic shift, noting: “This relocation is connected to our strategic focus on being in what we call the epicenter of the business community in Dallas,” citing the area’s rapid growth, increased concentration of financial activity, and proximity to emerging developments like the Texas Stock Exchange.
Coniglio points to Uptown’s continued growth and rising prominence as a financial hub, adding, “We’ve seen such growth in the Uptown area… There’s just an increased focus on Dallas as a financial hub and, ultimately, Uptown as its home. We’re glad to be a part of that from a business and client perspective.”
He also highlights the appeal of the firm’s new office environment, describing McKinney & Olive as “a one-of-a-kind office tower in terms of its architecture, amenities, location, and the energy that comes from having restaurants, retail, and other businesses all around it.”
The firm now occupies nearly 90,000 square feet across the top two floors of the Uptown tower, more than double its prior downtown footprint, following a 20% expansion of its Dallas presence and continued growth in attorneys and staff. The relocation underscores a broader trend of companies gravitating toward Uptown, while marking another departure from downtown Dallas amid rising office vacancy rates in that submarket.
