NEW YORK – Aug. 28, 2026 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has added Shareholder Sheldon Hunt Laing to its Private Funds Group in New York.
Laing joins Greenberg Traurig from Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he advised private fund sponsors on the formation, operation, and compliance of private investment vehicles. His practice encompasses buyout, growth equity, and late-stage venture funds, as well as co-investment vehicles, separately managed accounts, continuation funds, and other complex investment structures for established and emerging sponsors.

In addition to fund formation matters, Laing regularly advises on governance, investor relations, and other strategic considerations related to private funds and their sponsors. His practice reflects a highly collaborative approach to client service, helping sponsors build and maintain long-term relationships with investors while supporting their evolving business objectives and growth strategies.
