Greenberg Traurig Expands Leveraged Finance Capabilities, Adds Andrew Jacobs in Westchester County and New York

NEW YORK – Oct. 19, 2026 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP is continuing the strategic growth of its Finance Practice with the addition of Andrew B. Jacobs as a shareholder in the firm’s Westchester County and New York offices.

Jacobs joins Greenberg Traurig as client demand for sophisticated financing solutions continues to evolve across the leveraged finance and private credit markets. With more than 15 years of experience, Jacobs advises major investment and commercial banks, private credit providers, hedge funds, and other institutional lenders on complex financing transactions across the credit cycle, including syndicated lending, leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, restructurings, and distressed debt matters.

“Andrew brings deep market expertise in broadly syndicated loan transactions and a strong track record advising leading financial institutions on complex leveraged financings,” Global Finance Practice Co-Chair Arleen A. Nand said. “His arrival enhances our leveraged finance practice and reflects our continued investment in top talent to support our clients’ most sophisticated financing needs.”

Based in the firm’s Westchester County and New York offices, Jacobs will work closely with attorneys throughout Greenberg Traurig’s U.S. and international offices, supporting clients across industries on financing transactions and related matters.

“We are pleased to welcome Andrew to the firm,” Westchester County Co-Managing Shareholder Michael A. Moser said. “His strong relationships, practical approach, and commitment to client service will benefit both our clients and colleagues across the firm.”

Among the factors that drew Jacobs to the firm was its ability to grow globally while maintaining cross-office collaboration.

“What attracted me to Greenberg Traurig was its entrepreneurial culture and the strength of a platform that has grown organically while remaining highly connected across offices and practices,” Jacobs said. “The firm’s collaborative approach aligns closely with how I approach my practice.”

Jacobs currently serves on the Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA) Primary Markets Committee. He is also a longtime supporter of Part of the Solution (POTS), a Bronx-based nonprofit organization that provides food, services, and resources to underserved communities.
