On a state, regional and national basis, Mike counsels clients on health care regulatory and transactional matters. His practice focuses across the health care spectrum on regulatory compliance issues , including matters involving professional and organizational licensure/certification, the Federal Stark Law and similar state physician self-referral prohibition regulations, Federal and state anti-kickback laws, HIPAA and other patient privacy laws, Medicare, Medicaid and other governmental payor requirements, health insurance/managed care organization and other payor regulations, corporate practice of medicine, and reimbursement disputes.
Mike provides comprehensive support on transactional matters such as health care acquisitions and joint ventures, contracting for health care services or items, and provider/payor relationships.
