Tyler D. Coombe is a shareholder in the firm's Litigation Practice and White Collar Defense & Special Investigations Practice, focusing on complex commercial litigation, international law, anti-corruption, corporate internal investigations and compliance, electronic discovery and data management, and labor and employment. As a member of the firm's class action defense team, he has assisted in the defense of numerous wage and hour class actions in state and federal courts across the United States for a Fortune 50 company. Mr. Coombe has also represented major corporate clients in numerous internal investigations and compliance matters, including matters involving Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and UK Bribery Act compliance in over 15 countries on five continents.

  • Advised Fortune 50 company in the development and implementation of an extensive global Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) compliance program.
  • Advised major UK grocery chain in FCPA and UK Bribery Act due diligence in connection with acquisition of two international meat sourcing and processing companies.
  • Conducted in-depth FCPA risk assessment and compliance program design/implementation work in more than 15 countries around the world, including Argentina, Bangladesh, Brazil, Chile, China, Costa Rica, India, Mexico, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Japan and the United Kingdom.
  • Managed settlement administration for dozens of settled nation-wide class action cases, including Class Action Fairness Act (CAFA) compliance, Qualified Settlement Fund (QSF) formation and compliance, media campaigns, data management, valuation analysis, participation predictive modeling, claim distribution issues, cy pres distribution, and unclaimed property/escheat issues.
  • Advised international food sourcing business in anti-corruption aspects of creating a variable interest entity with foreign investors in Japan.
  • Represented Fortune 50 company in defense of numerous complex commercial and employment class actions in state and federal courts in Colorado and across the United States.
  • Represented a Fortune 50 company in internal and governmental investigations and related civil litigation relating to alleged misconduct by senior company executives.
  • Advised Fortune 50 company on state and federal compliance matters, including anti-corruption compliance, wage and hour law, unclaimed property, and other regulatory matters.
  • Advised Fortune 50 company regarding eDiscovery, data mapping, and other legal issues related to use and retention of electronically stored information.
  • Advised Fortune 50 company regarding EPL, CGL, and D&O insurance policy, coverage and reporting matters.
