Zoe P. Grisz advises and represents employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters arising under both state and federal laws. Zoe’s practice is built on a complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution background, concentrating on labor and employment litigation matters.

Zoe emphasizes practical strategies while also keeping businesses free to focus on their daily operations. She has deep experience advising employers and defending litigation.

Zoe prioritizes strategies to reduce litigation risks through her counseling and advice practice. She regularly represents her clients in alternative dispute resolution, such as mutual mediations. When informal efforts to resolve disputes prove unsuccessful, Zoe zealously advocates for her clients.

In the event of litigation, Zoe strategizes with clients to pursue the best outcome for their business by considering creative strategies and approaches. She represents employers in all stages of litigation, from administrative proceedings to discovery management, briefing dispositive motions, taking and defending depositions, and mediation and settlement negotiations.

During law school, Zoe served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Jorge Solis, Chief Judge for the Northern District of Texas and worked in the Travis County District Attorney’s Office’s Public Integrity and White Collar units. Zoe was also President of SMU Dedman Law’s Women in Law and served as a Chief of the Civil/Consumer Clinic.
