Satoshi Kubota focuses his practice on corporate law, capital market matters, gaming regulations, mergers and acquisitions, startup practice, general corporate issues, and litigation.

Prior to join the firm, he was mainly engaged in general corporate, maritime and admiralty, international/domestic commercial transactions, and corporate litigation/arbitration. He also has experience working as an in-house corporate attorney for a major foreign automaker on secondment from Greenberg Traurig.

  • Represented Black Dragon Capital in connection with its acquisition of Grass Valley, a leading technology supplier of advanced broadcast and media solutions, with operations in over 20 different jurisdictions worldwide.
  • Represented a Japanese steak restaurant chain in Nasdaq listing, which is the first U.S. listing by Japanese restaurant business.
  • Represented a Japanese healthcare company in Nasdaq listing which is the first Nasdaq listing case by Japanese non-listing company 20 years after the last one.
