Audrey Lee focuses her practice on corporate matters, including high profile transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and private equity transactions. Audrey’s experience spans industries such as biopharmaceuticals, entertainment and IT startups. She also has deep in-house experience, having served as general counsel of a venture-backed pharmaceutical company until its initial public offering. In this role, she oversaw legal matters related to cross-border life sciences licensing transactions, corporate litigation, intellectual property, initial public offerings, and labor and health care law. Building on such broad experience across different fields and industries, Audrey’s practice extends to international arbitration matters, where she liaises with international clients. In her role as chief operating and legal officer of an IT start-up, she handled the organization’s legal and operational matters. Prior to practicing law, Audrey was an investment banker at JP Morgan.

  • Represented Bird Rides Europe B.V. in its investment into Bird Rides Korea.°
  • Represented founding shareholders in the sale of KNet Co. Ltd to Hexatronic Group AB.°
  • Represented STraffic Co., Ltd. in the spin-off of its electric vehicle charging business and investment into SSCharger Co., Ltd. with SK Networks and Anchor Equity Partners.°
  • Represented Korean conglomerate in the establishment of and investment into a joint venture in United Arab Emirates.°
  • Represented JKL Partners in its co-investment into Fulcrum BioEnergy.°
  • Represented Mibelle in its acquisition of Gowoonsesang Cosmestics.°
  • Represented Korea Resources Corporation in its restructuring of Ambatovy Project in Madagascar.°
  • Represented a Korean film producing and distributing company in its foreign investments.°
  • Regularly advises Korean pharmaceutical companies in their on-going legal matters.°
  • Represented OliPass in its licensing-out transaction of its PNA technology for certain rare disease targets to a U.S. company.°
  • Represented a Korean pharmaceutical company in its licensing-in transaction for a certain protein inhibiting technology from a foreign partner.°
  • Represented Voronoi in its licensing-out agreement with METiS Therapeutics for a pan-RAF inhibitor program.°
  • Represented Qurient in its licensing-out agreement with TB Alliance for Telacebec (Q203) for treatment of tuberculosis.°
